About Me
I am a communications professional with a diverse background in project management, marketing, and journalistic writing across public, nonprofit, and corporate sectors.
In 2023, I graduated from Carleton University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts, double-majoring in Journalism and Law. While at Carleton, I spent my free time as a member of the Carleton Women's Ultimate Frisbee team and contributed articles to clubs such as Her Campus and the Ravens Sports Business Club.
After graduating, I worked in retail while figuring out my early career goals. I then worked as an account executive with Mediaplanet Publishing House, where I managed multi-channel advertising campaigns for a variety of clients.
I then transitioned to a communications role with Elections Ontario, where I was responsible for a variety of digital platforms, including the messaging and UX/UI of the Elections Ontario mobile app during the 2025 Provincial General Election.
Currently, I am looking for my next role. I am looking for a role that allows me to apply my current skills while also challenging me and allowing me to grow professionally.
I am passionate about the transitioning landscape surrounding drug policy in Canada and work with the nonprofit organization MAPS Canada to educate and advocate for psilocybin-assisted therapy for mental health treatment in Canada.
I have a variety of interests, such as fashion, wellness, sports, and reading. I recently started a Substack where I write fun, lifestyle pieces to develop my freestyle writing skills. I have always loved reading and am currently developing my book blog.
